he EcoGalaxy is a first class and environmentally friendly catamaran that offers fantastic cruises to the Galapagos Islands all year round. The focus is on comfort and sustainability and the EcoGalaxy catamaran aims to reduce the negative impact of tourism in the region. Food is sourced locally to support the local population, water is filtered and reused to clean the ship, energy-saving lamps and water-saving faucets are used, as well as biodegradable detergents and toiletries. The experienced team and nature guides undergo regular training programs in customer service, conservation and wildlife to ensure the best possible service. Galapagos cruises are fun, adventure, relaxed excursions and a real educational trip. Activities include hiking the extraordinary cliffs where sea birds nest, snorkeling with colorful marine life, panga rides to undiscovered beaches and fantastic photo opportunities. On board the EcoGalaxy Eco catamaran there is space for 16 guests in 8 cabins. There are 4 cabins each on the upper (size per cabin approx. 20 sqm) and main deck (size per cabin approx. 25 sqm) and each is equipped with air conditioning, its own bathroom with hot and cold water showers, hairdryer, telephone and safe. The cabins on the upper deck can be connected to one another and you can choose between single and double beds in all cabins. The common areas include a library, indoor salon with entertainment area, well-stocked bar, dining room and sun deck with loungers.
